Cape Fear (1991)
This one from Scorsese is really dark. Great performances all around and a tight script. Hard to believe De Niro did not win an Oscar. It was his most demonic role ever and in a league with Joaquin Phoenix's Joker. Nolte and Lange were excellent as well. Juliette Lewis, who was also nominated for a supporting role, was perfect as the rebellious teenager almost seduced by the villain. Second viewing.
