The Map of Tiny Perfect Things (2021)

Absolutely loved this film, which is a tearjerker in the end -- but this requires patience. A poignant remake of the groundhog day theme. Kathryn Newton and Kyle Allen are both headed for brilliant careers. My fav film so far in 2021. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11080108/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

Second time viewing this dark masterpiece by David Cronenberg. Viggo Mortensen is a natural resource. The title is pregnant with truth and the film laden with the power of the subtext from beginning to end. There is no non-crucial supporting acting here as well, including stellar performances by Maria Bello, Ed Harris and William Hurt.
